Abstract : A broadband linearization method with a novel optoelectrical predistorter was experimentally demonstrated. With the proposed method, the third-order intermodulation distortion was simultaneously enhanced by more than 10 dB for 510 MHz ranges and by 24 dB at 2.2 GHz without any change in electrical circuitry.
